Math, Geometry

For the weekend of December 13. A concept of Geometry i learned is logic statements. For example, the inverse of a statement like "the weather is nice today" would be "The weather is not nice today." You basically negate the statement with the word "not". For the converse, you would switch the "if" and the "Then" statements. For example, "If it is raining, then there would be puddles outside." and the converse would be "If there is puddles outside, then it is raining."

Brittany murphy

On December 20th, the U.S actoress Brittany Murphy dies. She died at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center near Beverly Hills. She went into cardiac arrest but the hospital would not release the cause of death. She died at the age of 32. Brittany was the actress who starred in the movies Just Married, Clueless and 8 mile. she was married to a British screenwriter Simon Monjack. She used to date Ashton Kutcher as they were together in the movie "Just Married." On Twitter, he tweeted that "2day the world lost a little piece of sunshine" and " My deepest condolences go out 2 Brittany's family, her husband, & her amazing mother Sharon."

The Cavaliers vs the thunder

The Cleveland Cavaliers played against the Oklahoma City Thunder in the Oklahoma City's Ford center. The Cavaliers Defeated the Thunder with ease as Lebron James scored a career high with 44 points and Mo Williams hitting a halfcourt shot in the fourth quarter. The Cavs had this game in the bag right after that shot. The Thunder did not make another point for 3 and a half minutes after the half court shot Mo williams scored.

Blabberize is a website where you can crop your images and make them talk. You can make them talk by either recording your own audio or you could upload an audio that is on your computer. Personally, I think Blabberize is fun because you get to make still images interactive and make them talk and you don't usually see that now a days. I give this website a thumbs up and i recommend it to any one who would want to kill time by having fun on the computer.

The travelocity website is a good website for touritsts and regular active commuters. This website gives you the costs of your travel flight and hotel stay including car prices.In addition this website gives you the cheapest prices you can ask for. This is good because you get to save tons of money that you would have lost if you hadn't used Travelocity. The website of Barnes and nobles is very good and i give it a thumbs up. I also recommend this website to all avid readers, who have a passion for reading books. This website has a various collection of books you can look at online so that you can purchase it. This website also contains a feature which allows you to search for the book of your choice. In addition, you can see the availability of the book you would like to purchase, as well as an option of gift wrapping the book that you have selected. There are many more interesting features, so you can go and view them at the Barnes and Nobles website. Overall, this website is very good for people who love to read and so igive this website a thumbs up.

www.Weather.com is a very good website for people who would want to know what they should wear before they step outside. This website is good because it gives you a very good insight on how the weather is going to be like for the whole week in their forecast. I find this very useful because it lets me know how i should dress for the whole week. I give this website a thumbs up and i recommend it to anyone who is conscious about the weather outside.

MSNBC is a good website because of its ability to keep you informed with news and more information to keep you coming. MSNBC also keeps you up to date with the economy , politics and also international and national news. In addition, MSNBC gives you accurate information about the forecast of how the weather will be like on each day. ESPN is a good websites for sports fanatics. This website enables you to view the scores or comments of games that have occurred or games that did not occur yet. Furthermore, this website gives you a look at high quality pictures of any spectacular moment that occurred during the game. Los Angeles Lakers vs. Golden State Warriors

On saturday night, the Los Angeles Lakers sweeped the Golden State Warriors with ease. In this game, Pau Gasol showed why he is an important player to the Lakers. An account of this was when Kobe Bryant said Pau's just being Pau, He's one of the best in the game. We missed that." Gasol scored 22 points to lead seven players in double figures and also had 12 rebounds. This win against the Warriors makes it the their fifth straight game with a 130-97 victory over the Golden State Warriors on Saturday night.

Lakers vs Thunder

On Sunday, the Los Angeles Lakers played against the Oklahoma Thunder in the Staples center. The Lakers swiftly defeated the Thunder as kobe Bryant and Gasol were shining in the game. Kobe finished the game with 26 points, 6 rebounds, 7 assists and 2 rebounds. Also, Kobe Bryant has made a memorable shot as he made a shot from behind the back board. An account of this was when his teammate Lamar Odom said You see him do things just fooling around with all kinds of shots in practice that you won't normally see," teammate. "But you expect the impossible, because he's not scared to take any shot from anywhere on the court. So that's why that's the result. It's never a bad shot to him. That's his mentality. He's not afraid to shoot it. He understands touch, getting the ball up and staying focused. His concentration is incredible."Normally two decades ago, this kind of shot would be invalid. A proof of this is when Larry Bird made the same shot in a pre-season game two decades ago. The Lakers defeated the Thunder with a score of 101-85. A quote from the Thunder's coach Scott Brooks said "We played against the best team in basketball, Anytime you play the Lakers, it's a humbling position to be in."

Denver Nuggets vs Chicago Bulls

On saturday, the chicago bulls played against the Nuggets in Denver. The Denver Nuggets defeated the Chicago Bulls. The score of the game was 112-93. J.R Smith finished off the Bulls as he got "hot" late in the game. This is because he scored 12 of his 19 points in the final period of the game. As proof of this Nuggets coach George Karl said that "He's an explosive player." As a response to the performance of J.R Smith. Carmelo Anthony and Chauncey Billups also helped out in the team's victory over the Bulls. Carmelo scored 30 points, 11 rebounds, 7 assists and 2 steals while Chauncey Billups scored 21 points, 4 rebounds, 5 assists, and 1 steal. This victory makes it the 15th straight regular-season home win for the Nuggets.

Heat vs Cavaliers

Recently, the Miami Heat faced the Cleveland Cavaliers in Miami. The heat and the Cavaliers both fought very competetively against each other to clinch the victory. "I like playing against LeBron more than anybody else in the league," Wade said. He goes on to say "He brings out the best in me, and I bring out the best in him. " This quote from Dwayne wade shows the level of competitiveness this game has brought to both players. In addition a proof of that is when part Dwayne Wade baskets included a dunk that James said might make the NBA's all-time top-10 list. As hard as both teams have played, the Cavaliers became victorious. This victory has made it the seventh time that the Cavaliers defeated the Heat in their last nine meetings. Dwayne wade scored 36 points but he couldn't rally the Heat from an 11-point deficit in the fourth quarter. Lebron had scored 34 points in his game with Miami Heat. Cavaliers vs Knicks

On Friday, the Cleveland Cavaliers played against the New York Knicks. The Cavaliers "toyed" with the Knicks in their game on Friday night. As Lebron claimed victory, he celebrated it with the Yankees in Madason square Gardern . In this game, Lebron James 33 points, nine assists and eight rebounds in a spectacular performance vs. the Knicks in the Cavs' only scheduled trip to Madison Square Garden this season. The Cavs' defeated the New York Knicks with a score of 100-91. In addition, this makes it six straight wins against the Knicks and four straight in MSG. "The atmosphere was great," James said. "Lot of stars in the building and like I said it's humbling to know that you have guys like the Yankees come out and Jay-Z. It's really, really humbling. This is what Lebron said in response to their win against the Knicks. He goes on to say "You almost feel like you're a performer sitting on the stage and they're watching you perform."

The machine that they built provided the foundation for advances in electronic digital computers. In 1942 a British Scientist who was called Alan Turing designed the Colossus. This electronic computer was created for the military and it had the ability to break German codes. The existence of this computer was kept secret until the 1970s. In 1945 the breakthrough idea of Dr. John von Neumann in which memory holds both data and stored programs layed the foundation for all the digital computers that have since been built. Since then as the years increased technology has been gradually evolving and even now it is still growing.

My review on the Lakers vs. the Thunder

Yesterday the Los Angeles Lakers played against the Oklahoma City Thunder. The Lakers became victorious in this game as they defeated the thunder. The score was 101-98. During this game Kobe Bryant has played tremendously well under the circumstances of having flu like symptoms. With his determination the Lakers were fortunate to have Kobe Bryant on the court. Also, it was said that felt fortunate that he was able to play, considering the concerns over swine flu. Kobe Bryant has led all scorers with 31 points. The Lakers won for the 10th straight time and 14th in their last 16 meetings vs. the Thunder.

Lakers vs. Mavericks

On Friday, the Dallas Mavericks faced of against the NBA defending champions the Los Angeles Lakers. The Mavericks created an upset in this game has they suprisingly defeated the Lakers on Friday. Even Dirk Nowitzki said that "We haven't won in this building in what feels like forever," Nowitzki said. " This victory by the Mavericks snapped a six game loosing streak between the Lakers and the Mavericks. The Lakers lost against the Mavericks with a score of 94-80. Michael Jackson's "This is It"

My response from viewing the clip, "Exclusive Clip: Michael Jackson’s "This Is It" is that the movie "This Is It" would be a good film to watch because it will show you a side of Michael Jackson that some people have not seen during his lifetime. To me, I think that this film is important because you get the oppurtunity to view Michael Jackson's last few rehearsals and interviews until his untimely death. My thoughts on this film is that it is something that somebody should go to see with their family and friends. My opinion on the movie is that it is good to put out a movie like this because all fans would like to see him rehearse and perform their favorite songs for the last time until his death. Compared to movies that other musical artists have starred in, the Michael Jackson movie "This is it" may be one of the biggest movies yet. This movie will be in theaters on October 28, 2009. Today the philadelphia philies became the national league champions over the Los Angeles Dodgers. This is the second consecutive year that they became the national league champions. The Philadelphia Phillies are on their way to the World Series 2009. The phillies defeated the Dodgers with a score of 10-4. The series was in the favor of the Phillies as they won 4-1.

Cavaliers vs Mavericks

Today, the Cleveland Cavaliers faced against the Dallas Mavericks in a preseason game. The Cavaliers defeated the Mavericks with a score of 96-66. The Cavaliers were very competitive as they crushed the Mavericks in tonights game. They had major leads in the third quarter when the Cavaliers outscored the mavaricks 32-16 in the third quarter to take a 33 point lead. tonight the Cavaliers gave a spectacular performance as they are a team to be reckoned with. Mystery Full of Hot Air

yesterday, when i was watching the news on CNN, there was this story which caught my attention. The story that caught my attention was that a boy was stuck in in a moving hot air balloon. But the suprising thing to me was that when the hot air balloon stopped the boy was not in the balloon. Then reporters thought that the boy might have fallen out of the balloon during its flight. When policemen and investigators were working tirelessly to find the missing boy, it was to an amazment that the boy was hiding in a box for the whole time that this situation was happening. The reason that he was hiding in the box was because his father yelled at him for trying to go in the hot air balloon for the first time so he hid in a box so that he wouldnt get into anymore trouble than he already has. His father was very dlelighted to find that his son was saved and he "dropped to his knees" when he saw his son. Police officers and investigators were also relieved that the boy was found. Recently, Barack Obama has been announced to be given the Nobel Peace Price of 2009. The committee has awarded this prize to President Obama because "he is being honored for his extraodinary efforts to strengthen international diplomacy and cooperation between peoples." The game ended with the Chicago Bull's Rookie "James Johnson" making a fade away jump shot at the buzzer which resulted as the game winning shot. watz up, bloggers...my favorite passion is football. Yesterday, I was watching the football game yesterday when the jets lost to the Saints. There score of yesterday's games was 10-24 with the saints being the victor. This was the jets' first loss in the season. To read about the recap of the game you can click on this "ESPN" .
